DESCRIPTION:Join the Valley Young Professionals on June 22nd for a donation drive and volunteer opportunity with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central & Northern Arizona (RMHC)\n\n \n\nThe families who benefit from RMHC travel far from home to receive treatment for their child at world-renowned pediatric centers located in metropolitan Phoenix. Their child's treatment may last a day\, a month\, or sometimes even longer. It's a long time to be away from home and oftentimes commuting or staying at a hotel is either impossible or financially challenging for a family. RMHC helps families overcome these obstacles by providing all the comforts of home and temporary housing near their child's hospital or medical center at no cost to families.\n\n \n\nLend a hand by packing welcome bags for families of children with medical challenges staying at their "home-away-from-home." As a volunteer\, you are asked to bring donation items for the welcome bags including:\n\n	Stuffed animals\n	Activity books (all ages thru adults)\n	Coloring/writing utensils\n	Toiletries (toothbrush\, toothpaste\, body wash\, shampoo\, lotion\, etc.)\n	Gift Cards\n	Reading Books\n	Comfort Items (cozy socks\, chapstick\, blankets\, etc.)\n\nAdditional suggested donation items can be found here.\n\n \n\nMake a positive impact in our community while making new connections with other young professionals!
