Join the Valley Young Professionals on Wednesday, June 25^th for a Self-Defense Super Seminar at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Phoenix! This event is perfect for beginners with no prior experience but also provides an incredible learning opportunity for those with previous self-defense or martial arts experience. We've meticulously crafted this seminar to create an amazing experience for everyone who attends!

Seminar Overview

A Brief History of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu: Learn about its place in self-defense, the UFC, the military, law enforcement, and the creation and success of the world-renowned self-defense Gracie Combatives® and Women Empowered® programs.
De-escalation Strategies
Effective Techniques: Learn some of the most highly effective techniques from the Combatives and Women Empowered programs. By the time the seminar is complete, you will not only have a better understanding of these techniques, but you will also see why participants fall in love with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu through our two beginner programs!
Open Q&A: Have your questions answered by our Gracie University Certified Instructors.

Although this seminar and our self-defense programs are designed to provide training and resources for men and women in what would be considered by many as worst case scenarios, it is taught and facilitated with care and levity throughout the seminar. The subject matter is serious, but the format and program are uniquely constructed in a way that allows for positivity and fun!
