DESCRIPTION:Arizona State Senator Steve Smith\, Brewer Companies CEO Mike Brewer and the GPCF Construction Workforce Collaborative invite you to a tour of the Metro Tech High School Construction Trades Program. \n\n \n\nA healthy construction trade workforce is vital to the Greater Phoenix region's economy. There are currently more than 10\,000 open construction trades jobs in the region yet we have several education programs with open seats. Join elected officials\, construction industry leaders and community partners for a series of tours at a few of our local education facilities.\n\n\n\nThe second tour will take place at Metro Tech High School\, one of many educational and training providers producing talent to address the immense workforce shortage in the construction industry. During the tour\, participants will build a greater awareness of the programs offered and opportunities for engagement. These tours will be followed with specific strategies to enhance outcomes at each of these locations.\n\n \n\nTour #3: A follow-up invitation will be provided to all attendees for the third tour in the series on Oct. 18 at East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT).\n\n\n\nQuestions?
