DESCRIPTION:Arizona State Senator Steve Smith\, The Brewer Companies CEO\, Mike Brewer\, and the GPCF Construction Workforce Collaborative invite you to a tour of the East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) Construction Trades Program. \n\n \n\nA healthy construction trade workforce is vital to the Greater Phoenix region's economy. There are currently more than 10\,000 open construction trades jobs in the region yet we have several education programs with available capacity. Join elected officials\, construction industry leaders and community partners for a series of tours at a few of our local education facilities. Our final tour will take place at the East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT)\, one of many educational and training providers producing talent to address the immense workforce shortage in the construction industry. During the tour\, participants will build a greater awareness of the programs offered and opportunities for engagement. \n\n\n\n\n\nQuestions?
