Brockway House\, first \nconstructed in 1909\, is an outstanding example of the Territorial Craftsman \ntradition and a residential jewel in downtown Phoenix.  Sold in 2004 for \ndemolition\, the house was later acquired and renovated by Greg Esser and Cindy \nDach with support through the City of Phoenix Historic Preservation Office.  \nThe renovation of the Brockway House was honored in 2009 with a Governor's \nPreservation Award and a "Best Of" in Phoenix Magazine.  The house serves \nas an informal community gathering space in keeping with its history.  \n\n\n\n:
