\nSince the election of 2016 the nation has seen a surge of political activism\, women especially\, feel called to participate in their democracy as never before\, but to what end? Beyond Twitter\, tshirts\, and likes on Facebook\, how can average citizens impact public policy in ways that elevate our civic discourse and make concrete differences in people'\;s lives?

\nJoin the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce and hear from Jodi Liggett\, Vice President for Public Affairs for Planned Parenthood of Arizona. Liggett is an experienced public policy professional. Her long career in advocacy makes her an expert on civic engagement.

\nBuild your network\, connect with peers and hear from inspiring businesswomen in the community. The Chamber brings business women together by hosting a dynamic female leader in the community each month to share insights into leadership\, career growth\, community involvement and women&rsquo\;s issues.
