This opportunity is working with the Valley of the Sun United Way \n- Project Homeless Connect which is taking action with solutions that address \nthe root causes of homelessness. Project Homeless Connect offers instant access \nto the resources people in our community need to start the journey back to \nhealth\, financial stability and housing. This includes access to goods - like \nfood and clothing - and services such as counseling and job placement.\nChamber members \n will have an opportunity to assist individuals with food\, clothing\, shelter \ninformation\, employment\, and other services that may be available. Groups may \nbe assigned to assist with providing participants with clothes donated for the \nprogram\, connecting participants to appropriate services\, guiding them through \nthis process\, and helping direct the flow of traffic for the day.\nThe Chamber is \nlooking for 25 people for both the morning shift as well as the afternoon shift.\n\n\nThe \noptions to volunteer are:\n\n\n\n7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. \n\nRegister Now\n\nOr\n\n\n\n\n11:00a.m.-3:00p.m.\n\nRegister Now\n \nPlease park in the \nemployee and volunteer parking lots of the Human Service Campus
