About Us

Who We Are
Established in 1968 in Williams, Arizona, Civitan Foundation, Inc. is a Phoenix based 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to delivering superior life experiences to children and adults with disabilities. Founded as the first residential summer camp experience open to individuals of all abilities, Civitan has expanded to provide statewide high-quality programs that focus on education, nutrition & health, life skills, socialization, job training, employment and respite/habilitation/attendant care services.

What We Do
Civitan delivers a variety of specialized programs and services to meet the ever-changing needs of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Serving over 300 individual members per day, we are recognized as a community leader in dynamic, purposeful, and impactful programs and services that promote independence, community integration and a healthy lifestyle.
