VISION - Ballet for everyone.

As we aspire towards our vision of ballet for everyone, Ballet Arizona’s overarching goals are to make the joy of dance attainable to all, create community pride, enhance classroom success through arts integration, and shape the future of dance through formal instruction. With these goals in mind, Ballet Arizona annually delivers:

(1) Professional Ballet Productions: Through our six annual productions, our talented Company of 33 professional company dancers and 21 studio company dancers perform both classical and contemporary choreography.

(2) Dance Instruction: The School of Ballet Arizona offers open-to-the-public dance education, with a variety of classes for ages 3 to 83 and all skill levels.

(3) Community Engagement Programs: Ballet Arizona’s 16 Community Engagement Programs remove barriers to participation, especially for those traditionally excluded/underrepresented. Current Community Engagement Programs include: 1) Adaptive Dance, 2) Ballet Under the Stars, 3) Book Club, 4) Class Act, 5) Community Angel Nights, 6) Community Presentations, 7) Creative Aging, 8) DanceAZ School Residency Program, 9) Dance for Parkinson’s Disease, 10) Driven to Dance, 11) Hoop Dance for Native Youth, 12) OLLI@ASU, 13) Performance Chats, 14) Performance Hour, 15) Student Matinees, and 16): Studio Spotlight.
