Reporting Relationships
The Procurement Assistant reports to the Procurement Manager.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Support procurement activities including sourcing, purchasing and preparing POs and RFQs.
- Communicate with vendors on pricing, availability and delivery schedules
- Maintain vendor database and ensure compliance with company policies
- Coordinate with accounts for vendor set up, invoices and payments
- Track shipments, arrange transportation and prepare shipping documents
- Coordinate with project teams on inspecting goods received, report any discrepancies and maintain accurate records

- Bachelor’s Degree is required
| Skills and Qualifications |
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement or logistics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general Computer literacy (required)
- Familiarity with ERP system and global business practices (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills (required)
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities (required)
- Demonstrates adaptability and a positive attitude when handling new tasks.
- Recently graduate with internship experience is acceptable.
| Physical Requirements |
- Sedentary Work: Primarily office-based, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer.
- Keyboarding and Computer Use: Frequent use of a computer for typing, data entry, and using procurement software.
- Occasional Lifting: May require occasional lifting of office supplies, files, or small equipment (under 15-20 lbs).
- Walking/Moving Between Offices or Departments: Some walking between departments for meetings or coordination. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Talking and Hearing: Frequent communication via phone, email, or in-person interactions with vendors and colleagues.
- Visual Acuity: Ability to read and interpret documents, reports, and emails, and perform tasks requiring close vision.
