Issue Committees: As part of the Public Affairs Committee, the issue committees offer the Chamber additional guidance, leadership, and participation before and during the legislative season.

Agriculture, Environment and Water: works to reform legal and regulatory framework to allow businesses to operate efficiently while maintaining environmental and water quality.
(Meets the fourth Wednesday of the month at 3:00pm year round)

The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a joint meeting with the Arizona Chamber of Commerce December 7, 2011 3:00-4:30PM. State and city lawmakers dealing in environment, water and energy policy have been invited to provide a preview of what we can expect for the upcoming session. In addition, Sandra Fabritz-Whitney, the new Department of Water Resources Director, will be in attendance to meet everyone and give a quick briefing on the department. The formal meeting will adjourn at 4:00PM followed by a networking reception that will last until 4:30PM.
