If you are a small business and want to grow your business through winning government contracts, attend this workshop to learn how you can become SBE/DBE Certified to ensure you receive an equal opportunity to win those coveted contracts.
Diane Nydick, Contract Compliance Specialist with the city of Phoenix will provide an overview of the city's SBE and DBE certification programs. Ms. Nydick will also offer insight into available procurement opportunities with the City of Phoenix for small businesses.
Ms. Nydick has worked in the City of Phoenix's Equal Opportunity Department for 6 years ensuring that small businesses and businesses owned by economically and socially disadvantaged individuals have an equal opportunity to enter into contracts with and provide services to the city of Phoenix.
• Learn about the City's certification programs designed to assist all small business owners in their business growth regardless of race or gender

• Learn how SBE certification can provide new contract opportunities for small
business owners in goods, general services and construction
• Learn helpful hints on how small business owners can network their business with the City of Phoenix after becoming certified
