If you're looking for new ways to grow and sustain your family owned business – then be sure to check out the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce's newly launched ''Family-Owned Business Forum.'' The Chamber has launched this event in partnership with Meridian Bank to provide family owned businesses with a unique opportunity to
learn, connect and develop resources for their companies.
Generations of Arizonans have dined at Bill Johnson's Big Apple Restaurants since 1956 and now a third generation Johnson family member is running the family business. Sherry Cameron is the granddaughter of the company's founder and it will come as no surprise that her first job was a bus girl at Bill Johnson's Big Apple Restaurants. Honoring her grandmother's wishes, she has now been the CEO for just over a year. Join us on Friday, March 18th as we host Sherry and her story of challenges and rewards of the business dynamic versus the family dynamic. How does a younger generation carry on the family legacy without changing its core values?
