Topic: Researching the Gender Gap: The DNA Behind TGen's Women in Science
For over 12 years, TGen — the Translational Genomics Research Institute — has studied the DNA of the human race to better understand disease and personalize treatments for improved patient care. Not once has all this research produced a finding that suggests that women can't lead as well as men. In her keynote, Ms. Burleson discusses the ways in which TGen cultivates its female leaders to identify and promote the next generation of scientists and C-Suite superstars to move Precision Medicine forward.
