Resilience:
Influence on Life/Work Balance
Speaker: Pam Gaber, Gabriel's Angels

How much resilience is enough? Resilience is rooted in a tenacity of spirit – a
determination to embrace all that life sends our way, even in the face of
overwhelming odds. We can't escape a life filled with challenges and adversity
but we can build a resilient spirit and come through better for the experience.
In 2001, Pam Gaber left the corporate world and founded Gabriel's Angels, a
501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The organization was named after Pam's
Weimaraner Gabriel, a Registered Therapy Dog who began his career by visiting
the children residing at the Crisis Nursery in Phoenix. After losing her beloved
Gabriel this year and handling her mother's current cancer crisis, Pam has
realized the power of resiliency. Come hear her inspiring story and receive your
personal ''Resiliency Score'' and tips on how to be a resilient leader.
