Quarterly DEI Employer Forum: The Cul...
Description
The Greater Phoenix Chamber invites you to virtually attend our quarterly Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Employer Forum on Wednesday, September 20th.
Would people say your business has a culture of nice or a family atmosphere? If so, that may not be a good thing. If your culture has meetings before or after the actual meeting and people do not feel safe expressing their actual opinion because it may lead to conflict, those are symptoms of a “nice” culture. A family atmosphere sounds great, but remember you can’t fire your family and you don’t rate your family annually on their performance.
Join us for our next DEI Forum to learn the pitfalls of the culture of nice, how to identify it, and how to get the best out of your employees to benefit your customers.
Speaker:
Jeannine Watanabe, Director Network Operations, West Co-Chair ID&E, Cox Communications and Chair of the Greater Phoenix Chamber’s Professional DEI Committee
Following the presentation, ask questions and hear from members of the Chamber’s DEI Committee as they answer live Q&A, share personal stories, and provide takeaways you can use within your business.
