Description
Join VYP on September 7th to learn about the incredible work of the Phoenix Indian Center, the oldest American Indian non-profit organization of its kind in the United States.
From job readiness and employment assistance to youth development and cultural revitalization, the Phoenix Indian Center is dedicated to addressing the unique needs of the American Indian population in the metropolitan Phoenix area.
Expand your network and delve into the world of American Indian culture during this enlightening cultural competency workshop, designed to educate non-American Indians and provide them with invaluable resources on issues pertaining to working with American Indian and Alaskan Native adults, children, and families. Gain a deeper understanding of American Indian history, relevant federal laws, and cultural considerations, while contributing to the Center's mission of providing a safe and supportive environment for American Indian individuals seeking opportunities in the dynamic urban setting of Phoenix.
We look forward to seeing you there!
