Join Valley Young Professionals on Thursday, March 26th for our annual Board Recruitment Mixer at Dink & Dine!
Valley Young Professionals is excited to offer an exclusive, behind-the-scenes airfield tour at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on Tuesday, April 28th, providing members with a rare opportunity to experience airport operations from the tarmac and runway level.
Participants will enjoy a guided, one-hour airfield tour led by the Phoenix Aviation Department, including an up-close look at runway and cargo operations, active aircraft movements, and behind-the-scenes logistics that keep one of the nation’s busiest airports running smoothly. The experience will include a welcome from the Phoenix Aviation Department executive team and a potential stop for a group photo near an aircraft. This event is made possible by the Support Sky Harbor Coalition. Light snacks will be provided courtesy of the Kind Hospitality.
This immersive experience is designed for professionals curious about aviation, infrastructure, logistics, and large-scale operations, and offers a unique perspective not accessible to the general public.
Free onsite parking will be provided.

Security screening required: All participants must pass through Sky Harbor security to participate in the tour.

Valid ID required: A Real ID–compliant driver’s license or passport is required for entry.

Hard arrival time: Participants must arrive by 4:50 PM. Late arrivals will not be permitted to join once the tour begins.

Full participation required: Early departures are not permitted; participants must be available for the full duration of the tour.

Limited capacity: Space is strictly limited to 75 participants due to transportation and security requirements. Registration will close once capacity is reached.

Security & logistics: Attendees should plan to bring all personal belongings onto the tour buses, as re-entry to the building will not be possible during the tour. TSA-restricted items are prohibited and will be confiscated.
