Join Valley Young Professionals on Wednesday, February 10th for a meaningful morning of connection, learning, and service at St. Mary’s Food Bank!
As part of our VYP Volunteers initiative, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with fellow young professionals, learn more about the important work St. Mary’s Food Bank is doing throughout our community, and roll up their sleeves for a hands-on volunteer project.
The morning will include:
- Networking
- Walking tour of the food bank
- Group volunteer experience designed to give participants a closer look at how St. Mary’s supports individuals and families across Arizona.
IMPORTANT TOUR DETAILS
This tour involves a fair amount of walking and standing, so please plan accordingly if mobility is a concern. Attendees should expect approximately 90 minutes of walking, covering roughly one mile. The route includes some stairs and portions of the tour will take place along the city sidewalks of 31st Avenue and Thomas Road.
DRESS CODE
For the comfort and safety of all visitors, St. Mary’s Food Bank requires a strict dress code due to health codes and facility safety precautions. Closed-toe shoes are required; sneakers are strongly recommended. All shirts must have sleeves; tank tops are not permitted. Pants or jeans are recommended.
Please bring a warm layer, as portions of the tour may take us through cooler areas of the facility. Come ready to connect, learn, and give back with VYP Volunteers!
