As Vice President, Investments at Raymond James, Ken is responsible for providing strategic direction and leading his practice’s financial planning and business development efforts. With over 27 years of experience in the financial services industry, Ken’s curiosity and love of people is what fuels his desire to seek out new ideas to help grow, preserve, and protect his client’s wealth.
In 1989, after serving in the US Army as a First Lieutenant in West Germany, Ken began graduate school back in the U.S., he then formally started his career as a financial advisor with Charles Schwab in 1993. In 2007, Ken joined USAA, where he worked as Senior Wealth Manager, covering all aspects of client acquisition and management in multigenerational wealth planning, until he joined the Raymond James, Scottsdale office in October 2019.
Ken leverages the significant leadership experience he gained in the Army with his 27-plus years of investing to provide strategic financial direction to clients. Ken is skilled in portfolio development and investment management, and has established a proven track record of optimizing client value and retention.
He has extensive experience advising active duty and retired military officers, as well as high-net-worth civilians and families to help them preserve what they’ve earned and plan for the future.
Ken received his bachelor’s degree in public administration and his MBA from George Mason University, as well as a master’s of sciences in financial services from the American College of Financial Services.
