Doing business with the City of Phoenix and the Arizona Department of
Transportation can be a complex and daunting affair without proper
guidance and direction. Tony Hatcher and Melissa Boyles will give a
brief overview of the procedures and requirements for bidding for
business. Come learn how to navigate the process to get a chance at the
millions of dollars in contracts these programs offer. Melissa Boyles has with over 15 years of experience in regulatory compliance, contract management, procurement, and project management. As the DBE Supportive Services Manager at Arizona Department of Transportation, she is responsible for managing the DBE Supportive Services Department which includes providing one-on-one assistance for small, women, and minority owned businesses as well as federal contractors and public owners. Tony Hatcher has been with the City of Phoenix for fifteen years as the Minority, Women and Small Business Enterprise (M/W/SBE) Procurement Manager for the Finance Department Purchasing Division. He is responsible for the Outreach and development of the M/W/SBE Program, in assisting firms in doing business with the City. He is also responsible for interviewing and assessing where and how firms can be utilized in City and departmental purchasing. |
