Join the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce as we partner with the Downtown Phoenix Partnership and the City of Phoenix Mayor's Office to network in the Evans-Churchill Neighborhood of Downtown Phoenix.
The Dr. George M. Brockway House, first
constructed in 1909, is an outstanding example of the Territorial Craftsman
tradition and a residential jewel in downtown Phoenix. Sold in 2004 for
demolition, the house was later acquired and renovated by Greg Esser and Cindy
Dach with support through the City of Phoenix Historic Preservation Office.
The renovation of the Brockway House was honored in 2009 with a Governor's
Preservation Award and a "Best Of" in Phoenix Magazine. The house serves
as an informal community gathering space in keeping with its history.
