Description

This committee considers recommendations from the GPCC's 8 issue committees, and acts to make position recommendations on public policy and legislation to the Chamber's Board of Directors.

The committee will be discussing the following ballot initiatives:  Save Our Secret Ballot (SCR1026); The Health Care Choice Act (HCR2014); Land Conservation (HCR2002); The Repeal of First Things First (HCR2001); Lieutenant Governor (SCR1013); and State Trust Land (SCR1047).

The pro side of each issue have 15 minutes to present as well as 10 minutes to answer questions.  The con side of the issue will have the same amount of time and will present immediately after. 

A sponsored lunch will be included at 12:00 noon and during this time there will be discussion and a vote on the morning items. Following the afternoon session there will be discussion and then a vote on the afternoon items.
